The easiest soft peanut butter cookies recipe ever. You will have them ready in 15 minutes maximum. Loved by kids and adults. So most probably you will have to prepare double batch next time.
Ingredients and steps:
- a generous scoop of peanut butter (around 3/4 cup)
- 1/2 cup butter – softened
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
Preheat oven to 375 F. Beat with electric blender peanut butter, butter, sugar and milk till blended. Add egg and beat a little bit more. Sift flour, baking soda and salt together. Add the dry mixture to the wet one and mix until blended on low speed. Line the cookie sheet with parchment paper. Drop the dough with a round spoon on the sheet leaving around a 2 inch distance between each. Dip a fork into sugar and flatten each cookie crisscross. Bake 7-8 minutes till edges just begin to brown. Cool the sheet over the wire rack.
Alternative baking (lazy option): flatten the dough over the baking sheet with your hands. Spray with a little bit of sugar. Bake for 10 mins. Cool completely on the wire rack. Cut with pizza cutter into squares or other desired shapes. Enjoy 🙂
