The night I was craving fudge happened to be the night when I don’t have any components for any common fudge recipe. Except I had some coconut milk and cocoa powder. I assumed, it has to be a way to use them to satisfy my sweet tooth. After some time spent online and not finding many easy non-dairy options available, I made my own recipe.

It came out very tasty and effortless. Now I have a to go chocolate alternative for lent days as well. Yay!

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup virgin coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk
  • 1/4 cocoa powder
  • raw honey

Microwave the coconut oil if solid. Mix in the coconut milk and whisk till combined. Add cocoa powder, mix till blended. Add some honey to taste and mix again. You can use the mixture as a great dipping or ice-cream sauce at this point.

If interested in a fudge-like texture, line the bread tin with foil and pour the fudge in. Freeze for 2 hours or till solid. Cut in squares and serve.IMG_9141

I love how mouthwatering this fudge came out, extremely dense and full of taste. The only down point, it shouldn’t stay long outside the freezer. But the flavor really covers this con. I will definitely make it again!IMG_9142IMG_9140
